Registered 11/01/1991, this is a very fine example of the iconic Saab 900 Turbo
Featuring lowered Kelin Springs and Koni shocks and fitted with 16" Saab Carlsson Aero alloy wheels with 195/50/16 Toyo Proxy tyres, this car handles amazingly well.
Full Turbo specification with 175bhp APC system, Genuine Saab Intercooler, Abbott twin pipe exhaust, JR Air filter and Magnacor leads this car has performance to embarrass many more modern vehicles.
Externally the car has the full Aero bodykit enhanced with the optional Aero vent covers, whaletail spoiler, rear decor panel and roof wind deflector.
Internally the car has the benefit of fully working factory air conditioning system. The internal lighting has been upgraded with led bulbs. the facia is fitted with the turbo/apc boost gauge and 3 genuine SAAB extra dials. The power steering is enhanced by the fitment of a SAAB sports leather steering wheel. additionally there is a walnut gear lever knob, electric windows, mirrors and sunroof.
A Thatcham Cat 1 Cobra alarm/immobiliser with remote central locking is fitted.
Additional upgrades to this amazing car include heated rear view mirrors, genuine SAAB front mounted reversing lights, rear screen wash/wipe, upgraded front lamps, Clarion retro look radio/CD & high quality component dash speakers and Nokia CK7W Bluetooth hands free kit.
Mechanically the car drives exceptionally well. we have just given the car a full service and replaced the Air Mass Meter, Idle Control Valve, Lambda sensor as well as fresh synthetic oil, oil filter etc etc. A REBUILT and REFURBISHED GEARBOX was fitted less than 10k ago and all gears select exceptionally well. A new clutch was fitted at 107k, and the timing chain and guides, headgasket etc were all replaced at 108k. The brakes have been upgraded to those from a SAAB 9000 Aero spec and fitted with braided brake hoses all round.
124000 miles with excellent history. HPI clear and a full set of every MoT certificate ever issued.
Taxed to end Dec 2010, MoTd currently until July 12th 2010 but we will issue a full 12 months MoT on sale.
There are a couple of points worth noting however - the rubber on the rear whaletail spoiler is starting to seperate in a couple places, and the headlining will be fully retrimmed as it looks like a prior attempt at a diy retrim has failed!
