Alloy Wheel Refinishing - What they do:
Re-coat any wheel.
Machine any wheel up to 19" to repair damage from "Kerbing".
Balance wheels using the latest computerised equipment, normally with no weights visible on the outside, up to 21".
They strip all existing coatings using a unique mixture of solvents
They then give a fine bead blast to provide a good surface key.
At this stage any repairs are carried out.
The wheels are then primed and baked in a Low Bake oven.
After final "flattening" they are coated using the latest 2 pack enamels and again
baked in a low bake oven.
The customers original or new tyres are then refitted and balanced using their very modern equipment which can handle any wheel up to 21" with no visible lead weights or scratches which most tyre fitters can
not avoid.
Alloy Wheel Refinishing - What it costs:
Compared to buying new wheels (especially some alloys and hard to find classics) very little! Their basic prices start at
£69 per wheel, that is, for example, the price for a 15" alloy finished to the highest specs in our standard silver..
Alloy Wheel Refinishing - How long does it take?
They will need your wheels for a few days, so bring your wheels to me and I will phone you when they are ready for collection.
