We can fit genuine Mohair hoods to the classic 900 convertibles.Unlike general convertible hood suppliers who fit all makes, we are experienced ONLY in fitting to the classic 900, which is one of the most complex hoods to do! Due to our experience in these cars we don't just fit a new hood, we also check the hood frame for corrosion, especially the front A-bow, and after removing the old hood material we can rectify any issues there before fitting the new hood.
We also will advise if the rear screen section needs replacing, which can often only be ascertained once the main hood is removed. Many times we've seen cars where a new main hood has been fitted over the old rear section and the car still fills with water! If costs more in both money and time to remove a newly fitted main hood to change the rear section than it does to do both at the same time.
We will, however, also advise if the rear screen doesn't need replacing.
All our hoods are made to original Saab specification, including the rear screen section.
We can also fit replacement convertible internal headlinings.
