Left Hand Drive conversions

We currently have components in stock to convert both manual and automatic cars to Left Hand Drive - why not have us restore your convertible and convert it to LHD for your holiday home in Spain or France!

Saab 99 turbo 1978/T
This car was complete, but in a very sorry state bodily.
We stripped the car, professionally repaired/rebuilt the corroded areas, fully resprayed the exterior, fully serviced the engine, changed the brakes and restored the interior.

Saab 900 Turbo-S convertible Monte Carlo anniversary edition. 1992/J
We rebuilt this car to almost as new condition!
Bare body respray. fully rebuilt engine, new brakes, suspension, exhaust, refitted interior, EVERYTHING was removed from the bodyshell and either replaced with new or refurbished components.

This particular car was the 1st T16S that was sold in the south coast, from the main dealers Arnett Saab in Bournemouth.

1990/G c900 Carlsson restoration.
as the car is in regular use, the customer requested the rebuild in stages. Part 1 was to overhaul the engine and gearbox, whilst the engine was out of the car the engine bay was grit blasted to reveal any corrosion, repaired where necessary and repainted. The gearbox was reconditioned and the engine overhauled including headgasket, timing chain, oil pump etc. The air conditioning system was removed and refurbished cam cover, inlet manifold and sundry pipes, brackets etc completed this stage of the restoration.

1993 Turbo-S Convertible
a very nice low mileage example but with a couple of visable corrosion issues. These on first glance looked very minor, but quite rightly he wanted the rust treated before it got any worse.

1993 Saab 900i SE  to TURBO conversion and rebuild
The client wanted a full turbo 3door ruby edition replica but with some personalised touches, and supplied a 900i 3door with very good bodyshell/chassis for a full mechanical conversion.
Leather seats with electric adjustment, leather door cards, re-trimmed headlining were required for the interior, cruise control, air conditioning for comfort. Short Shifter gear lever conversion was fitted, Full pressure turbo engine with turbo spec gearbox, turbo suspension with anti-roll bars, and for the exterior - ruby specification bumpers, but with extra wide wheel arch trims (as per the 1989 Turbo 8 anniversary edition), whale tail rear spoiler and 9000 spec directional Aero wheels.
The bodyshell, although in very solid condition, was given a full respray and complete comprehensive Waxoyl/Dinitrol anti rust treatment.
